The application submitted by the International Office in the PROM – short-term academic exchange – received nearly 2 million PLN in funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). This funding will support the travel of academic staff, doctoral students, and students of the University of Wrocław (UWr) to academic centers around the world (excluding the Russian Federation) and the arrival of international guests in Wrocław.
The project plans a total of 140 mobility opportunities, including:
- Group visits and individual trips to summer/winter schools, courses, and other organized forms for students – 30 outgoing and 10 incoming trips.
- 43 outgoing doctoral student mobilities – individual trips to conduct research, actively participate in conferences, attend summer/winter schools or courses, carry out consultations or research at foreign institutions, and other activities for gaining qualifications and competencies as defined in the PROM program regulations.
- 15 incoming doctoral student visits for study tours at UWr.
- 32 outgoing UWr staff trips for acquiring or enhancing competencies/qualifications.
- 10 incoming staff members from foreign institutions to the University of Wrocław.
The program will run from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, with mobilities taking place from January 2025. Mobilities may last between 5 and 30 days.

Applications are accepted via email at agata.nowak@uwr.edu.pl, with rolling admission until the funds are exhausted. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
