The Graduation Ceremony for English-language programmes at the University of Wrocław is a formal celebration honouring the academic achievements of our international graduates. Organised annually since 2023 in July (3rd Friday of), the event brings together students, academic staff, and the university community to mark the official conclusion of bachelor’s and master’s studies.
Held in the historic Aula Leopoldina, the ceremony features traditional academic elements such as official speeches and the symbolic awarding of diplomas. Graduates wear university gowns, adding to the ceremonial atmosphere and visual unity of the occasion.
Beyond the formal part, the day also includes several activities and opportunities for graduates:

A photobooth to capture the moment with friends

A small reception for informal celebration and socialising
To ensure everyone can take part, even from a distance, the event is also live-streamed online.
This ceremony is not only a farewell to student life but also a proud welcome into the community of University of Wrocław alumni.
