Tuition fees

Tuition fee rates applicable from the 1st year of studies in the academic year 2026/27:

INFORMATION FOR CURRENT STUDENTS: Please know that if you want to pay for your next year of study (2nd,3rd) you should follow the rates stated in your Letter of Offer or student deal signed at the beginning of studies. If you will have any problem regarding payment for 2nd and 3rd year of studies please contact with your Faculty Student Office.

All candidates are required to pay the registration fee: €23/€27 (if exam applies) for each application.

For the first year of study candidates are required to pay the whole amount of the one year tuition fee.

Please note that student should cover all bank charges.

Please be informed that the date of posting (inflow of funds to our account) decides if the payment was done within the deadline.

  • traditional Bank transfer to the University of Wroclaw account (information below)
  • online payment (applicable only to the registration fee) - through the payment gateway provided in the recruitment system in the “Payments” box

Please note that student should cover all bank charges.

 

Make sure to provide us sufficient information about the payment that has been made (the name of the sender if the payment wasn't made by you, tittle, amount etc.), to make sure that it will be easily found and credited to your application. If your transaction confirmation doesn't provide this information please send us an e-mail (international@uwr.edu.pl) with additional notes that may be helpful while matching the payment to the application. 

 

Important information!

There may be a problem with receiving the refund for bank account in following countries:  Republic of Burundi, Egypt, Eritrea, Republic of the Union of Myanmar (Burma), Lebanon, Libya, Republic of Congo, Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Republic of Guinea, Central African Republic, Somalia, Tunisia, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Sudan and Crimea

Due to bank sanctions and other regulations we  can't receive payments and send transfers to: Afghanistan, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Botswana, Cambodia, Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Russian Federation, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Zimbabwe

 

 

Refund policy

 

1. Registration fee 

The registration fee is non-refundable, except in the following situations:

  1. You paid but didn’t submit your application:
    You'll get a refund minus a 10 EUR handling fee.
  2. Your chosen course/programme was not launched at all:
    You'll get a refund minus a 10 EUR handling fee.

Deadline for refund request:
Refund applications must be submitted by 15.10.2026. After this date, refunds are not possible, based on the Rector’s ordinance.

 

2. Tuition fee

The first-year tuition fee can be refunded only in the situations listed below:

  1. Withdrawal before the academic year starts:
    If you withdraw before the start of the academic year, you may receive a refund. The refund is reduced by an administrative fee of €300. If you received visa it must be cancelled for the refund to be processed.
  2. Visa refusal or lack of visa appointments:

    • Visa refused with no appeal
      If you do not appeal the consular decision, the refund is reduced by an administrative fee of €300.

    • Visa refused after appeal
      If you appeal and the refusal is upheld, the refund is reduced by an administrative fee of €200.

    • No available visa appointments
      If no visa appointments are available, the refund is reduced by:

      • an administrative fee of €200 if the programme is not offered in hybrid mode.

      • an administrative fee of €300 if the programme is offered in a hybrid mode,

All tuition fee refunds are reduced by an administrative fee.

 

3. Additional

  1. If the University of Wrocław cancels the programme for reasons beyond its control, you will receive a full refund of the first-year fee.
  2. If you were recruited through an agency and resign during your first year, your refund will additionally be reduced by the agency’s commission.
  3. All refunds are processed in EUR.
  4. Please note that your bank, intermediary banks, or the receiving bank may charge additional fees during the refund process.
  5. To apply for a refund, you must submit in IRC system:
    • A correctly completed Refund Form
    • One of the following documents:
      • Visa refusal confirmation and a copy of your entire passport
      • Copy of a cancelled visa
      • A confirmation from the consulate stating no visa appointments are available before the arrival deadline, plus passport copy 
      • Official academic leave decision
      • Valid medical certificate
  6. Submitting a refund request equals a formal resignation from your studies.

 

 

Refund procedure

If you received visa refusal:

  1. Please log in into your students account and fill out the refund form,
  2. Print it out, sign it and enclose to your students account the scan copy together with the visa refusal letter issued by the Polish Embassy.
  3. The refund will be proceeded within two weeks from the day of submitting complete form.
  4. Refund should be submitted immediately when candidate knows that will be unable to proceed with studies

 If you received the visa but can not start your studies:

  1. Please log in into your students account and fill out the refund form,
  2. Print it out, sign it and enclose to your students account the scan copy together with the confirmation of cancellation of the visa by the Polish Embassy.
  3. The refund will be proceeded within two weeks from the day of submitting complete form.

If you couldn't get a visa slot:

  1. Please log in into your students account and fill out the refund form,
  2. Print it out, sign it and enclose to your students account the scan copy together with the passport copy (all pages sorted from 1st to last in one pdf file, with page number easilly visible on the scan).
  3. The refund will be proceeded within two weeks from the day of submitting complete form.
