Is Ukraine's Accession to the European Union in a Time of War Possible?
Professor Roman Petrov is a prominent Ukrainian lawyer specializing in European law. He earned his doctorate at Queen Mary University in London, and was subsequently a fellow in the Max Weber Fellowship program at the European University Institute in Florence. He is currently a visiting professor at the Max Planck Institute in Heildelberg. Professor Petrov is involved in two research projects - HORIZON EMPRACE entitled "Overcoming obstacles and advancing democracy in the European Neighborhood Policy" and JEAN MONNET NETWORK VISTA entitled "Revitalising the state of the EU Single Market Integration in turbulent times".
The lecture will be combined with a panel debate featuring:

Solomiya Kharchuk, MA (Doctoral School, Faculty of Law Administration and Economics UWr).

Prof. Alexandra Maatsch (Head of the Jean Monnet Chair at UWr) and prof. Anna Śledzińska-Simon (associate professor at the Constitutional Law Chair).
The lecture (in English) will take place on March 27, 2023, at 13:30-15:30,
in room 2D (I floor), at the Faculty of Law Administration and Economics, 7 University Street.
