  • We are pleased to announce the Seminar "Building a civil society in Europe", which will be held at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław, Poland, from 20 to 23 September 2017. The Seminar is jointly hosted by the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

     

    Overview

    The Seminar “Building a civil society in Europe” is organised by the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The objective of the course is to provide participants with a general outline of the civil society institutions introduced in Europe. The lectures will be held in English.

  • In September 2017, Institute of International Studies at Charles University in Prague will start a new Joint Master Programme - European Politics and Society: Vaclav Havel Joint Master Programme (EPS) open for EU and non-EU students interested in history, political science and international relations.

You are a highly qualified and motivated PostDoc looking for funding to do research abroad?

This is how the University of Graz will help you to apply for an Individual Fellowship (IF) within
the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCAs):

  • Receive up to 400 € for your travelling costs to Austria
  • Attend a free intensive workshop on the application for MSCA – IFs in Graz
  • Boost your chances by getting to know in person your mentor and possibilities

Eligibility:

  • Fulfillment of the eligibility criteria for an IF:

o You have not lived in Austria for more than 12 months in the past 3 years prior to the
deadline
o You are an „experienced researcher“ (PhD or at least 4 years of full time research
experience)

  • Attendance of the workshop in Graz (9th of May 2017)
  •  Submission of a proposal with the University of Graz as host organization in the call of 2017 (Deadline 14th of September 2017)
  • Be among the first 20 candidates to register for the incentive and fulfill the other requirements

MSCA – IF (http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/about/individual-fellowsh...):

  •  12 – 24 months
  •  Working contract with the host institution
  •  Extra funding for your mobility
