Summer school in EU Law, Prague

Common Law Society presents:
['12] European Union Law: The View From a Mountain ...a summer school for students from all over Europe!

Dear students,

we would like to invite you to a summer school on EU law which will take place in the first two weeks of July in a magical setting of Czech mountains. Together with students from all over Europe, you will be led through various topics in EU law by lecturers from top European universities, EU institutions and legal practice.

The programme consists of a general course (focusing on public EU law, complemented by workshops with people from practice), a specialisation course (discussing the outer limits of EU law), guest lectures and a moot court. The distinguished lectures will be given by Advocate General Eleanor Sharpston and by Professor Damian Chalmers. Attached you will find the programme and the profiles of the lecturers. For more information, visit the webpage of the summer school.

There is also a non-academic dimension of this summer school: you are invited to participate in various trips and sports, to use the wellness equipment of the hotel (sauna, whirlpool) and to enjoy the free evenings, getting to know your fellow students and the lecturers. The free weekend also gives you a chance to explore Prague or go hiking in the surrounding national park!

In order to apply, please follow the instructions on the website of the summer school (application form, CV and motivation letter, all before April 30). The course fee is € 500, accommodation and full board included.
