Seminary about Tolerance 19th November 2012

„I could say analogously that tolerance is the affable appreciation of qualities, views, and actions of other individuals which are foreign to one`s own habits, beliefs, and tastes. Thus being tolerant does not mean being indifferent towards the actions and feelings of others. Understanding and empathy must also be present".

These words were used by Albert Einstein to define tolerance. What is tolerance in reality? Is it a genuine virtue or maybe just a form of ignorance? On the occasion of International Day of Tolerance celebrated on 19th November it is well - worth focusing on the term and sharing Your thoughts and reflections, as well as listening to the others' opinions.

Having it in mind, the European Law Studnents' Asocciation ELSA Wrocław caters for the need and arranges a thought - provoking discussion on the topic. Being aware of the fact, that the truly International Day of Tolerance would be incomplete without international participants, ELSA Wrocław decided to invite some young students from other countries, who take part in the ERASMUS programme.

We invite all people interested in broadening their minds to the meeting, which is going to take place on 19th November 2012 at Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics. Feel invited to join us!"
